The children's author David Walliams parted ways with book publisher.
Best-selling young adult author and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
A spokesman for the publisher commented: "Following a thorough review, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the move was made after an inquiry regarding claims about questionable actions involving young women.
The publisher declined to specify the reasons for its decision, adding: "We refrain from speaking about internal matters."
A Highly Successful Publishing History
Walliams stands as a most prolific writers for young readers, with sales exceeding in excess of 60 million copies globally in five dozen languages.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins back in 2008.
Several of his books, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into small-screen adaptations.
His bibliography includes in excess of 40 works in total, including a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.
