On Monday, the tribunal heard communication data and data obtained from phones recorded Ms Wandelt repeatedly asking Madeleine's mother for a biological test over the past two years.

Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - at the age of three during a trip in Portugal - is among the most publicized child disappearance cases and remains open.

'I Don't Want Money'

One recorded message, shared in court, recorded Ms Wandelt stating: "I understand I'm heavy and unattractive like Madeleine was, but I believe what I believe."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's recording stated: "Imagine there is a tiny probability that I am Madeleine? Then what? Is that not significant for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I have a existence here in Poland, I simply desire to know," she added.

The panel was advised that via emails, mobile messages and calls, Ms Wandelt asked for a DNA test, transmitted childhood photos to her phone in a attempt to display a similarity to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and stated to have "memories" from a youth with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, an intelligence analyst with law enforcement who compiled the information, told the court there "didn't appear to be any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore contacted family friends of the McCanns, according to the phone records.

On that date, the father responded to a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "incorrect contact information."

On that occasion Ms Wandelt recorded a message on Mrs McCann's answerphone saying "I will continue and I plan to establish my point."

The court learned the co-defendant struck up a connection online with Ms Wandelt before assisting her on a appearance to the McCanns' property in the county in last December.

Call logs showed Mrs Spragg had communicated via WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to state the media had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she should be taken seriously in the period before the visit to that location, the county, in that winter.

The court learned message exchanges between the two defendants, in that autumn, considering trying to get Mrs McCann's genetic material from her bins or from silverware at a eating establishment.

"We have to take action," the co-defendant told Ms Wandelt.

On the night of the appearance to their home, Mrs Spragg dispatched a text which stated: "We're currently sat outside the McCanns' home with our vehicle dark resembling investigators. I desired to accomplish this with Peter Andrew I hadn't anticipated I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The trial ongoing.
